How does a pub get into the Guide?

The way The Good Beer Guide works is that every year, each local branch of The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) submits information about the best pubs in their area for inclusion in the book. This is based on local members rating the beers in each pub throughout the year and choosing pubs based on the consistent quality of real ale. There are only a limited amount of pubs allocated to each branch, so only the best pubs go in.

If you would like to be involved in choosing the pubs that go into the guide from your area, please contact your local CAMRA branch. You can find your local branch on the CAMRA website
